The Broncos took care of business, cruising to a 9–1 victory over the Leo Lions on Tuesday at Montini. Max Bell went 3-for-4, recording singles in the second, fourth, and fifth innings to lead a balanced Montini offense.
Montini struck early in the bottom of the first inning, scoring two runs on a groundout by Bell and a run-scoring fielder’s choice from Jackson Simek. The Broncos extended their lead in the second inning when Bell singled to drive in another run, making it 3–0. Montini continued to add on in the third, as Simek doubled down the left-field line and a Leo error allowed another run to score.

Drake Palmer provided strong relief, throwing two shutout innings and allowing one hit while striking out two. Brown took the loss for Leo, working one-third of an inning and surrendering two runs.
Montini finished the game with nine hits, led by Simek’s two-hit performance. Rich Gewont showed patience at the plate with two walks, as the Broncos drew six walks overall and stole five bases. Defensively, Montini was sharp, turning two double plays.
